Full course description

This course is an important part of the joint educational project between The Donkey Sanctuary and the Equitarian Initiative - International Equid Curriculum, whose main objective is to disseminate and share knowledge about the health and welfare of donkeys and hybrids with veterinary medicine students, through a direct collaboration with universities around the world. With a direct impact on the training of future professionals.

During the different modules of this training course, students will have the opportunity to first learn about the different parts, functions and settings of harnesses, and then understand the consequences of incorrect use of harnesses for the health and well-being of (working) equids.
